Deca continuous

THE COMPETITION

The «Continuous» version of the Deca Ultratriathlon is a total distance of 2'260 kilometers, which corresponds to 10 times the long-distance triathlon. The disciplines are completed in one go: first 38 kilometers of swimming, then 1'800 kilometers of cycling and finally 422 kilometers of running

(a tenfold marathon).

TIME LIMITS

The time limit is a total of 336 hours

(14 days).

SWIM: Sunday, August 10, 2025, 6 p.m. to Monday, August 11, 2025, 8 p.m. (26 hours)

BIKE: Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 0.00 midnight (222 hours - SWIM+T1+BIKE)

RUN / Finish: Sunday, August 24, 2025, 6 p.m.

INFORMATIONS

REGISTRATION

Registration is open until June 30, 2025.

 

Refund policy:

  • If you cancel by May 31, 2025, 50% of the total entry fee will be refunded.

  • In the event of illness or accident, we can refund 50% of the total entry fee if an athlete cancels by July 11, 2025 and submits a medical certificate. After this date a refund is not possible.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the competition if the minimum number of participants is not reached by March, 31, 2025.

In the event of a cancellation by the organizer, 100% of the entry fee paid will be refunded.

STARTING FEE

​​The entry fee for the Deca «Continuous» is

CHF 2'800 for early bird until December 31, 2024 and CHF 3'000 regular from January 01, 2025.

IMPORTANT: The date of receipt of payment by swissultra applies!

 

Food for participants/crew and pavilion can be booked via the registration platform (see Services section).

Swissultra is a non-profit association that organizes competitions with a lot of passion and on a voluntary basis. The aim is for all competitions to be self-financing. In addition to sponsorship money, the entry fees make a significant contribution to being able to offer a high level of quality and service. 

PAYMENT MODALITIES

Registration is only valid once the entire entry fee has been transferred.

Payment in installments can be arranged.

​

1st installment:

For the early bird prize, at least 50% of the entry fee (CHF 1,400) must be credited to the swissultra account by December 31, 2024.

​

For the regular prize, at least 50% of the entry fee (CHF 1,500) must be credited to the swissultra account by March 31, 2025.

 

2nd installment:

100% of the entry fee must be paid by May 31, 2025 at the latest.

If you register after May 31, 2025, the full entry fee is required.

​

If the 2nd installment is not transferred on time, the participant will be removed from the list of participants.​​​

SERVICES

Catering:

  • Meals: up to two hot meals per day including salad, dessert and coffee, plus one sandwich and soup as required. Catering for the entire competition period (August 10 to 24, 2025) can be booked at the time of registration and amounts to CHF 420 for lunch + dinner. Later booking is possible at a price of CHF 20 per meal. Also possible on site until the day before.

  • The kitchen is open continuously from around 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Snacks and drinks are provided during the night. Without guarantee.

  • Refreshment station along the route with snacks, water, sweet drinks and fruit (depending on the weather).

  • Food and drinks for all athletes at the athletes' ceremony and for support staff (max. 2 persons per athlete) included.

​Infrastructure:​

  • The rental of a 3x3m pavilion (set-up and removal will be organized by swissultra) for the entire competition period (August 10 to 24, 2025) can be booked at the Registration and will cost CHF 250. The pavilions can be taken at 12 noon before the start and must be left clean at 12 noon after the competition.

  • Fully covered transition area with fridges, freezers, showers and toilets nearby.

  • Electricity and internet access (WiFi) in the staff area.

  • Illumination of the running course and support zone during the night.

​Service:​​

  • Start package with goodies

  • Finisher medal, finisher shirt and other gifts

  • Athlete presentation and award ceremony at the competition site in the Rheinau outdoor pool.

  • Bicycle service on request upon availability or with pick-up and delivery service.

  • Massage service can be booked on site daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with advance reservation ( booking forms are provided on site).

The fees for the transfer of the entry fee shall be borne by the participant. The transfer is to be made in Swiss francs (CHF).

​​REGLEMENT

 

The swissultra is part of the IUTA World Cup 2025 and accepts the current rules and regulations. The swissultra regulations are in addition to the IUTA regulations.

IUTA WAIVER

 

The IUTA WAIVER must be completed, signed and handed over to the organizer before the start of the competition.

We recommend that all participants should have a sports medical screening before taking part in the swissultra. Only with sufficient training and a medical check-up can this challenge be completed without health problems.


It is the participant's own responsibility to be healthy and fit at the start of the swissultra 2025. Therefore we do not check a medical certificate.
